- PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)
The PDA is the engineers workstation, where their ‘paperwork’ is filed. Every engineer working for Robert Heath completes all their work sheets and LGSR using their issued PDA. Data is then fed back to our servers and is instantaneously uploaded onto our information systems. Each property has an audit trail, rendering all data fed through the PDA as genuinely ‘real time’, clear and concise.
Engineers receive all their work through the PDA’s and they provide a gateway to our offices and technical department through our message manager tool, making it easy to gain information or advice from whoever an engineer may need it from.
- Van Tracker System
The van tracker is an inbuilt tracking system fitted to all Robert Heath Vans, which tracks an engineers whereabouts, how many miles they have driven and utilises a satellite navigation system to find the properties and where the job is situated.
The information we gather from this tracker system also can determine from a landlords point of view, that a No access is genuine, and is proven documentation that we have been to that property when we say we have.
