- Robert Heath were called out to this Shelterd Scheme which comprises of 28 flats.
- There was a burst pipe in the plantroom on a Saturday at around 4pm which had caused a serious amount of flooding resulting in loss of heating and hot water provided to the flats.
- Our commerical engineers are highly experienced but spread apart, we couldn’t get a commercial engineer there quick enough, so we sent our domestic engineer
within an hour and half to contain the leak as we waited on the commercial engineer.
- The commerical engineer then arrived an hour after the first engineer, made a temporary fix on the burst pipe, restored heating/hot water, pumped the water clear that was in the plantroom and the defective part was replaced by the Monday.
- This incident was a prime example of how reactive we are as a company to these types of problems, and we make ourselves flexible enough to collaborate our engineers to make sure an emergency job is rectified as quickly as possble.
