Landlords' electrical safety checks
Most landlords know that it is their responsibility to carry
out electrical safety checks on rented properties. This should
be carried out by a qualified engineer who checks every electrical
appliance and circuit, and then certifies the condition of
the installation.

Void safety checks
When a tenanted property becomes vacant it is both an opportunity
for the landlord to carry out neccessary repairs and a liability for
the safety of the now empty premises. We carry out a void safety check
which gives the landlord peace of mind that the premises have not
been left in a dangerous state by the departing tenants. It also identifies
any repairs which may be required and our engineers can either secure
the premises with the electricity completely cut off, or leave it
in whatever state of readiness the landlord wants. |

On-line
real-time data
We operate a secure on-line database that gives us 24 hour up-to-the-minute
information on every job and every engineer. The database allows us
to control our engineers very effectively, so that none of them wastes
time, and so that our customers have the best possible service. Where
our customer is a landlord, information about their properties can
be made available in real time so that they know when a Robert Heath
engineer is due to carry out any work and will know instantly when
the work is finished.
Trained engineers
All our engineers are fully trained and hold the relevant certificates.
We also ensure that every engineer attends regular refresher courses
so that they are aware of advances in their field and know how to
use them to help you, as well as ensuring that basic knowledge is
not lost. |
